The PCCG solution goes a bit further then most. In addition to capturing images, the PCCG PACS solutions add efficiency and quality control to the situation.

Our Modality Workstation advances the standard frame grabber technology to a new level of usability. A computer is setup to capture images directly from the modality as each study is performed. Following study completion the modality technician can accept or delete all images and modify or augment DICOM header information as required. Meanwhile, worklist support eliminates manual error. Following QC, the modality technician simply executes a DICOM push sending all medical imaging and DICOM data into the facility archival system.

PCCG Modality Workstations typically cost $8k to $14k installed. The cost of the system depends upon the individual modality.
