 The
1000SL, the first in the iCRco film digitizer
line, now has a new interface: FireWire &
USB. Quoting specifications usually reserved
for more expensive scanners, the 1000SL -
with it's 10,600 element CCD and blazing fast
scans, confirms why iCRco continues to be
on the cutting edge of medical imaging.
Design Advantages...
The 1000SL is mechanically and ergonomically
superior to other scanning systems. Vertical
orientation protects the mirror and lens from
particulates and dust. This also saves space,
and allows for wall, stand or desktop positioning.
Fixed optical components, and a light path
which is limited to a single mirror eliminates
image deterioration due to vibration and reflective
interference. The film is drawn through the
scanning unit without the use of rollers to
avoid damaging the film. The 1000SL has only
one moving part which never requires adjustment.

The Cobrascan 2000SL, RDI's flagship model
boasting previously unobtainable specifications,
has a new dual interface: FireWire & USB!
16 bits of stored data provides maximum clarity
and optimization potential, using a new 14,400
element CCD providing an Optical Density range
of 0-4.8 (actual) and maximum uninterpolated
optical resolution of 13.7K (the ACR standard
is just 2K or 2.5 lp/mm). The very latest
advanced components allow ultra-high resolution
scanning in the same compact and efficient
scanner design which Cobrascan technology
has pioneered.

| Film Scanner Auto
Feeder |
 The
New Auto Document feeder from Radiographic
Digital Imaging, Inc. incorporates a revolutionary
suction film drive mechanism that preserves
the precise flat scan path of the Cobrascan
line of digitizers while ensuring repeatable
scans time after time. No rollers touch the
surface of the film at any time. The problematic
issue of roller failure and dirt and dust
drawn into the machine by roller rotation
is not an issue. The feeder cannot jam and
films will not be damaged by incorrect feeding.
The film tray can hold up to 100 films. Films
are lifted one at a time into the film clip
and transported past the scan head. After
images have been scanned, they are dropped
into a holding tray.
This technique ensures that the optics and
drive mechanism remain sealed from dust and
particulates, and the feeder can operate continuously
24 hours a day if necessary.
RDI is the only manufacturer that produces
a filmfeeder that can Autoscan in a production
environment.
The new XSCAN32 software allows for easy scanning
and optimization creates a perfect image every
time.
RDI can also produce custom high volume options
on the film feeder including hot swappable
components to ensure zero downtime in a service
bureau environment.
Many of RDI's scanners will accept the ADF
as a retrofit and all of RDI's new products
come with a light box and the option to add
the ADF at any time. |
