| The MDintouch Service is
a service application which bridges functionality
between PCCG ENTERPRISE PACS and MDIntouch's
MTWebtop system. MDintouch works in tandem
with MDIntouch Slingshot, an application designed
to send files to the MTWebtop system.
When the MDintouch Service is set up, user
dictations are automatically sent to the
MTWebtop system. There the dictations are
transcribed and the reports are distributed
to all necessary locations. The distribution
process includes electronic distribution,
as well as, hard copy formats such as a

MDinTouch's web-based services
provide a smooth faster workflow system
for the medical report process from the
dictating doctor, to the transcriptionist,
to the medical transcription manager, to
the medical records administrator, or to
the payor, which facilitates patient care
decisions and the claims process.
MDwebtop
The MDwebtop offers secure access to transcribed
clinical reports for review, edit, reject,
electronic signature and, ultimately, distribution
- all via an Internet browser - or even
through the mobile Internet.
Once signed, the report is automatically
made available to the referring physician
through an MDwebtop account, via remote
printing, fax or integrated with an existing
healthcare information system.
The MDwebtop is also provided via wireless
access through devices such as the Palm
VII and mobile Internet (WAP) phones, allowing
the physician to be productive anytime anywhere.
The MDwebtop is designed to allow other
applications to be offered to the physicians,
for example a physician MDwebtop user can
today access the LocusMedicus medical library,
a physician forum as well as utilize secure
web e-mail.
MTwebtop
The MTwebtop is the tool for medical transcriptionists
allowing MTs to access voice files (dictations)
from physicians, transcribe and transfer
of reports to physicians, as well as share
work with other transcriptionists.
The service meets all of the operational
requirements necessary to run a medical
transcription company. It lowers the cost,
reduces report turn-around time and provides
additional value for both the medical transcription
companies and their customers (e.g. the
physician offices and the hospitals). Additionally,
